My Wedding Services
Officiating at your wedding or civil union is an intimate privilege. I am honoured that you have made a connection with me and have taken time to gather some insights into who I am and what I will bring to your special day. I look forward to having the same honour of getting to know you both, finding out what is important to you, and sharing your love story with those who matter most to you. I really enjoy MC’ing too, and will happily step in if needed.
Simple and Sweet
This option is for those couples who would prefer a quick, no fuss ceremony, or a registry/elopement type of ceremony. It may be a small, intimate gathering, or there may be decent crowd - the size of the gathering doesn’t matter. You would be happy to use, or minimally adjust, standard templates for the ceremony. There would be no rehearsal and we would have one online meeting to ensure we had all bases covered. Witnesses can be provided if required.
This is a nice and easy, fuss and stress free option.
Designed for You
Let me create a unique and personalised ceremony for you and your partner that you will treasure and remember. Think - your choice of location, music, vows, wedding rituals - and I’ll make it happen! During our planning time and lead up to the big day, we’ll have an initial face to face consult; you will complete a questionnaire to express your thoughts, ideas and dreams, and we will have another face to face or online meeting to make sure we have everything covered. We’ll have a rehearsal either the week before or on the day of, and I will professionally deliver the awesome ceremony we have crafted together. I’ll be there throughout the ceremony to support you both, and to ensure things run smoothly and to plan.
Your wedding day is a day to remember, so let’s get creating!
Vow Renewal
Whether you are wanting to renew your vows to mark a special anniversary, or to rekindle things moving forward, a vow renewal ceremony can be a beautiful occasion to meet your needs. Like wedding ceremonies, it can be a registry/elopement type of ceremony, or a very personalised and unique one that we create together. There are no legal requirements to a vow renewal - just you and your partners wishes and dreams. Let's chat and figure out what would suit you best and I'll get creating!
Civil Unions
It is entirely up to you whether you connect better with having a civil union or a marriage. The ceremony’s themselves could look exactly the same, but the references would be to unions rather marriages. The only other difference is the legal paper work. If you would like a civil union, you apply for a paper based civil union licence with Births Deaths and Marriages, and all of the documents are referred to as civil unions rather than marriages.
